A New Test at Inmet Troilus

A new test with millpebs has been started at Inmet Troilus mine in Canada.

In order to increase metal recovery, flotation test at Inmet Troilus concludes that more ore will be liberated if ground finer. Therefore, the goal is to decrease the P80 of the grinding circuit from 40 down to 20 microns.

Since that the millpebs is the only solution to grind finer, Inmet Troilus has decided to convert the ball charge to 100% millpebs. The test started in february 2006 and charge conversion should be over by mid-april.

Stay informed to have new development of this industrial test.
