Through steel shot abrasive technology, the world leader Wheelabrator Allevard Enterprise (WAE) innovates in developing millpebs as grinding media. Demand for finer grinding is increasing and existing grinding media are not suitable or cost prohibitive for the industry. Millpebs is the solution for customer economical requirement's fulfillment.
Millpebs are made of high carbon steel produced by a proprietary granulation process, resulting in a graded size distribution (5 to 12 mm) with a hardness of 64 Rc. The millpebs shape is from spherical to oblong.
Used in conventional tumbling ball mill and vertical mill application (secondary, tertiary or regrind), millpebs are designed to optimize your grinding efficiency without any capital investment. Millpebs can be used alone or mixed with existing grinding media.
